A sobering thought: what if, at this very moment, I am living up to my full potential?

Jane Wagner

I organize women’s, men’s, mother/daughter’s, teenager’s and couples’ groups. At the present time I am in the process of putting together a group for people dealing with co-dependency. The group will meet weekly in the evening hours at my office in Manhattan. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in joining one of these groups, please contact me at  mft33@aol.com.

I am also interested in organizing a new mother/daughter group therapy that meets regularly. If you are interested in finding out more about this opportunity, please contact me at the email address above.

It is sometimes possible to fit into an existing group. More often, it is better to design groups that I feel will develop a strong dynamic from among interested individuals, couples or mother/daughter tandems. This enables me to maximize the experience.

The mother/daughter group therapy experience is unique and can focus on varying age groups from young, to teenage and even adult daughters and moms.

The group approach can often serve as a helpful adjunct to individual, family or couples therapy.

When to seek help

  • Are you having difficulty fitting in with others?
  • Do you experience anger at someone and not understand where it came from and/or why?
  • Do you feel isolated and/or alone?
  • Are you feeling defeated?
